Participants

EGI-InSPIRE is a consortium of 50 members, coordinated by the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), which includes 40 NGIs (National Grid Initiatives), two European Intergovernmental Research Organisations (CERN and EMBL) and eight members from the Asia-Pacific region, belonging to 37 European countries, 6 Asian and 3 from Oceania.

RedIRIS belongs to the Spanish NGI, which works closely with the Portuguese one in the context of Ibergrid.

 

Activities 

NA (Networking Activities). Includes project and consortium management (NA1), external relations (NA2) and coordination of user communities (NA3).

SA (Service Activities) - Includes reliable operation of the production infrastructure (SA1), providing software infrastructure (SA2) and support for large user communities (SA3).

JRA (Joint Research Activities) - centred on developing new elements for operating tools (JRA1).
