Win a prize! TERENA launches 25th anniversary competition

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, TERENA is launching a video competition in which participants can submit their answer to the question: "how will the Internet change people's lives in the next 25 years?" An iPad will be awarded to the winning entry.

The contest is open to anyone with an interest in the research and education community worldwide who submits a one minute video of their answer.

We invite you to tell us your innovative and unique answer in a short video using your wit, ingenuity and creativity as well as your understanding of research and education networking. If your video complies with the contest rules, it will be featured on TERENA's new YouTube channel TERENATube, where viewers can vote on their favourite videos.

Help us celebrate

You can submit your video by completing the online contest video upload form. Submissions will be accepted from 13.00 CEST on 4 April until 12.00 CEST on 18 May 2011.

The winner

Submitted videos will be judged according to their popularity, as voted upon online in TERENATube, as well as their content in terms of originality, foresight, and creativity. The winner will be selected by a judging panel consisting of TERENA Secretariat staff and Janne Kanner, TERENA president. The winning video will be announced and displayed during the closing plenary at the TERENA Networking Conference in Prague, Czech Republic on 19 May 2011.
