- FEDERICA infrastructure deployment (expected by the end of 2008)
- Start-up of the infrastructure and user support services
- Identification of possible users: researchers of electronic services, FIRE (“Future Internet Research and Experimentation Area") community projects
- Dissemination and training to encourage the use of the deployed infrastructure
